Mass Ministries
"Contribute to the needs of the holy ones, exercise hospitality." Romans 12:13
Becoming involved in one of our many Mass Ministries will help you connect with others and spread God's love.
Please take time to examine the different options described below, and discover how you can get involved!

Mass Coordinator
Mass Coordinators make the necessary preparations for liturgical activities. This ministry is perfect for someone who enjoys behind the scenes work!

Greeter
Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Greeters are the first face of the parish. It is an excellent way to meet people in our Parish family and follow Christ’s example of serving others.

Usher
Ushers assure the comfort of the assembly in the worship space. They help people with seating, collect and secure the offertory, and are available to assist with a variety of needs as they come up during the liturgy.

Lector
(Adult & Student)
Lectors proclaim the Word of God (first and second reading, intercessions and end-of-mass announcements). Student lectors can read the Second Reading of the liturgy.

Altar Server
Altar Servers are boys or girls in grades 4-12, having received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Communion.

Eucharistic Minister
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (also referred to as Eucharistic Ministers) assist the priest in distributing Communion at Mass.

Adoration
Volunteers commit to one hour each Tuesday, to spend in church, in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Volunteers can commit to a weekly time slot between the hours of 9AM and 8PM on Tuesdays.

Rosary Leader
Volunteers lead the praying of the Rosary before Mass and are on a rotating schedule.

Audio/Visual
Audio Visual volunteers assist at Masses in the balcony with the recording of Mass for homebound parishioners.

Choir
Cantors: Lead the liturgical music during Mass. Preparation is required the week before.
Choir: All ages are welcome! Practices are one weeknight. With enough participation, choirs can be segmented.
Funeral Choir: Must be able to attend Funeral Masses on a weekday or Sunday morning.

Children's Choir
We are looking to start a children's choir! If you are interested, please contact the parish office for practice times.

Sacristan
Sacristans assist, facilitate, and provide support and coordination for other liturgical ministries.
