Children's Liturgy of the Word
"Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, "Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16
If you have young children, 10:00am is the Mass to attend!
Each Sunday, during the academic year, students ages 5 - 10 are invited to participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLW) during the 10 o'clock Mass. No registration is required - just come forward when prompted by the Lector. This is an opportunity for our young children to learn and apply the Sunday scripture readings at their age level. The leave before the First Reading and return during Offertory before the Communion Rite begins. This also allows parents to really listen to the scripture proclaimed and the homily.
This program is taught by our wonderful teams of volunteer catechists.
On months that have a 5th Sunday there is no CLW in the basement. Instead, Father brings the children forward for a "Children's Homily" after the Gospel is proclaimed and preaches directly to them.
Kid's Corner

Weekly Bulletins:
Every week we put a new Kid's Corner bulletin designed specifically to engage our youngest parishioners in the readings and activities of the week. There you will find the Weekly Children's Mission, a breakdown of the Gospel reading and games! The back page has upcoming events that pertain to kids.
You can find these in the Vestibule just below the regular weekly bulletins....at the perfect height for little hands.
Mass Quiet Bags:
We LOVE having our pews filled with wiggly littles but understand it can be stressful for the parents. These quiet bags and books are located in the Vestibule and changed out with new content weekly to apply to the liturgical season.
We love hanging the colored pictures in the Formation SPACE in the parish office!
