Eucharistic Minister Ministry

"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me." John 6:54-57

About the Ministry “It is a gift to be a Eucharistic Minister – to share the Body and Blood of Christ with another,” said one Eucharistic Minister reflecting on her experience at St. Mary's. The Ministry of Eucharistic Ministers is a very profound and special opportunity. Interacting with old and young, people from all backgrounds and circumstances, Eucharistic Ministers help all present: “Take this all of you and eat . . . Take this all of you and drink!” In addition to serving the Eucharist at mass, some of our Eucharistic Ministers bring Eucharist to the homebound, or those in the hospital, a skilled nursing facility, or retirement community. If you know of someone in need, please contact the parish.
